Allen Meacham

President and Chief Executive Officer

Allen has significant neuromodulation experience and a proven track record of driving growth, fostering innovation, and leading high-performing teams. This experience is a key asset in advancing the company’s mission to deliver innovative neuromodulation technologies that expedite ventilator weaning and patient liberation.

Allen was previously the Chief Revenue Officer at Nalu Medical, a startup peripheral and spinal cord neuromodulation company, where he played a crucial role in the company’s commercial success. Before that, he spent 15 years with Boston Scientific, holding various leadership positions culminating in his role as Vice President of US Neuromodulation.

Brad Swatfager

Chief Financial Officer

Brad is a seasoned medical device executive with a proven track record of guiding medical innovation from development to acquisition. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of Surgical Information Sciences (SIS), a company focused on improving brain structure visualization for deep brain stimulation.

Prior to SIS, Brad was the CFO of Zyga Technology, overseeing a broad portfolio including Finance, Clinical, Regulatory, and R&D, through its 2018 acquisition by RTI Surgical. He also served as CFO of Atritech, where his responsibilities included Finance, Clinical Affairs and Regulatory, and he played a pivotal role in its 2011 sale to Boston Scientific. Following the acquisition, he transitioned into a leadership role as VP/General Manager of Boston Scientific’s WATCHMAN business. Brad began his career at Velocity Express and Ernst & Young, LLP. He holds an Accounting degree from the University of North Dakota.

Kristen Lechleiter

Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs

Kristen serves as the Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, advancing our mission to develop innovative neuromodulation technologies for expediting ventilator weaning. With more than 18 years of experience in the medical device industry, Kristen brings technical acumen, an engaging personality, and proven leadership in collaborating with internal and external teams to achieve results.

Prior to joining Stimdia Medical, Kristen held key clinical leadership positions at Boston Scientific Neuromodulation. Kristen’s expertise spans clinical research, strategy, product design and development, and regulatory affairs. She holds an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S.E. in Bioengineering from Arizona State University.

Matt McDonald

Vice President of Research and Development

Matt has significant neuromodulation experience and a proven track record of design excellence, fostering innovation, and leading high-performing teams.

Over his 20-year career, Matt has successfully taken many early concepts from inception to commercial use. He has worked on digital health, clinical research, and active implantable medical devices. He has led Design Thinking approaches and has repeatedly been selected to join initial exploratory teams and external partnerships.

Matt is a co-holder of more than 60 U.S. patents and is a published researcher whose work has appeared at international scientific conferences and mainstream media events.

In his prior role as R&D director for UI/UX Design and Mechanical Engineering at Boston Scientific Neuromodulation, Matt led teams that created neurostimulation solutions for chronic pain. He is currently part of Stanford University’s Biodesign Global Faculty in Training program, collaborating with physicians across the globe.
